    • Preventing display Scary Warranty Void message

  • C. You using openmode kernel and having Scary Warranty Void message and want to disable it
    • You should do FULL REFLASH to original firmware, and do all.

Booting harmattan takes alot of battery. Try fully charged and boot harmattan a few times you will notice how much battery it drains.

I've never noticed that. Thank you =D

i am sorry but you're trippin'.
i've done all that. i've reflashed the DFL61_HARMATTAN_30.2012.07-1_PR_LEGACY_005-OEM1-958_ARM with the zimage kernel...

i am however suspecting that --flash-only-kernel maybe the problem?

i will try again.

Once put your device in openmode with zImage kernel, you cant remove warning message.
You have to reflash completely without zImage kernel, then remove the warning message, then flash zImage.

Hi, I have been going crazy trying to get this stuff setup.  I can't seem to flash to bone stock keep getting a Downgrade disallowed message...HEEEELLLPPP!!! Tried with openmode on and off...(not that it should matter) Please? :)

Edit:  Think I figured it out...read though the installation script and noticed PR_005 as opposed to PR_001.  Apparently for my device there are two variants.  In Navifirm I found the 005.  I am downloading now and I am going to give it a whirl see what happens.

**Edit...sighhhh download keeps on hanging at 19%.  Tried two versions of Navifirm 1.5+ and 1.7+.  Rebooted the machine.  Cleared the cache from the navifirm directory...this just isn't my day.

059J245 variant PR_005 just wont download past 19%.  Tried the SEAP file and no problem.  I also tried a different product code with the same PR_005 and they also die and 19%....aghhhhh

I decided to try Nitdroid on my N9 yesterday and did it successfully once without any problems. I did it with PR_005 instead of PR_001 since my device is on PR_005.

Thanks Coderus for the great guide! :)

You have already flashed zImage (open mode kernel) ? (you got warning when you last time rebooted your phone?)

Follow instructions, you have to do this "disclaimer-cal remove View-openmode" before that.

Once more Coderus... Can you add to the very top of your tutorial that READ THE GUIDE TWICE THROUGH BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.
Then decide which to choose A, B or C ... ??
