Unless I have misunderstood something, at that is really a possibility, then we have a nice NITdroid version which deliver normally user demands except that you can't use it as a Mobil phone due to the voice call problem and less essential you can't use the camera function. Isn't that still correct? Therefore in my point of view in that situation talking about a switch to JellyBean or the like seems for me more or less to be a sort of a displacement activity more than preparation for the future!

Garp, I get it correct that you're working on voice calls and camera HAL right now?
Thanks for your preparation for future, I'll port it to JB immediatly after you release it.

e-yes: The sarcasm was NOT aimed on the developers as you who works so hard for us - the users - but on us users who demands too early in my point of view more new efforts of developers who are trying hard I think to solve already existing problems.
Best regards and thank you for your big work to advantage for simple users as me!

I do not believe users asking questions , is demanding anything, the whole idea of a forum is to get information , provide information and ask questions?

Of course you are right the word demands was unwise to use. As user we have only wishes but on the other hand even asking etc. is done to get and maybee has influence on acting, priority etc. else it was meaningless, as I see it.
e-yes and the other developers are of course then totally free to act as they wishes and make their own priorities etc.
Therefore my purely subjective point of view is that most important issue right now is the voice call bug, next the camera before the JellyBean and the like, and that's because from my user point of view when that is solved then I have no further important wishes for normal dayli use of this nice NITdroid version.

Garp

I totally agree with you, the only reason I mentioned about jellybean is that it is only a minor change to ICS but is much quicker and has cleaner optimized code, I thought that this would of made fixing the call problems easier than on ICS thats all. But i do totally agree with what you say :-).

also a update from e-yes tweet page

Now I'm pretty sure JB is faster than ICS on #nokia #n9. #nitdroid

regards

Adam

Hi Adam.

Maybee you are right.
At least I can see JB seems to be faster than the ICS roms I have used on my rooted HTC Desire, single core 1GHz and 576 MB RAM.
I have just installed the beta version from evervolv team (XDA) - Nikez Lente and even with some bugs it seems good and fast.
Then on N9 1GHz but 1GB Ram it must be even faster.

So let's see and in the end e-yes etc. decides what will be the end of that story!

Best regards
Jørgen
